4th of July!

This weekend was 4th of July so, obviously I wanted to get something new to wear. When it comes to picking out outfits for holidays though it takes me forever. Now like I have said before I am already picky when it comes to shopping in the first place, but when it is for a holiday it is even worse. So, I start to look for 4th of July stuff pretty early this year because last year I waited to the last minute and didn't get the shirt that I wanted. So, I would look online at all my favorite boutiques at the end of May and all through June. However, I came up short every time when trying to find something. So, finally I started to look at stores and still could not find anything. Finally, a few days before July 4th I stopped in to Old Navy as my last option. I knew that they always had a lot of 4th of July stuff (the grey t-shirt with the American flag on it that everyone had when they were little). I finally found a couple of tanks that I like and thought would work, my only issue is that I had blue shorts and I really wanted the shirt that I got to go with those short. That was not the case, the one shirt that I really liked at Old Navy was of course blue, but I got it anyways and told myself I would figure it out later. Well, later turn into the day before and I could not find any shorts that I wanted to wear with the top. Target had some, but my husband asked me if I would wear them more than once and I said no and left Target. However, the day of 4th of July guess where I went back to? You guessed it, Target. I got the shorts and paired it with my blue tank with an American flag on it. I finished off the outfit with a jean with polka dots headband. In the end I loved my outfit and was very comfortable in it. Below is a picture of me in the outfit.

What did you wear for the 4th?
