Shopping on a budget
Let's face it most of us our probably on a strict shopping budget. We are at the point in our lives where it is time to grow up and take on financial responsibilities. Which for most of us is paying rent, bills, and of course paying back student loans or budgeting so you have enough to pay for student loans after college. In other words most of us feel broke because all our money is going towards the adult things and not the fun things like shopping. Well, I am here to tell you that you that you don't have to sacrifice your fashion in order to save money. You can find ways to still be fashionable and shop on a budget.
First you have to come to terms that sales are your best friend. If you want to be able to stay fashionable while on a budget be sure that you are on the look our for any sale. The best way to know about a sale for your favorite stores is to sign up for their email list. If you are on their list then they will let you know when there is a sale. Second you have to come to terms that you may have to start to love coupons. Coupons are just like sales you are able to get the fashionable items you want. Third a tip that all of us should learn is to look at other places for items that you fall in love with. There are a lot of items that I have loved, but they are just out of my budget so I will either look for them online at other stores or if I know that another boutique that may have the same item, but for a lower price I will look there. Finally, when you are on a budget the best time to buy clothes is when they are going out of season. When items are going out of season is when they are the cheapest to buy, but be sure when you buy an item that it will still be fashionable when that season comes around again. A good example of this is boots. Boots have been fashionable for a few years now and the best time to buy them is towards the end of winter so then you save money and you have them for the fall.
These are just a few tips, but don't ever think you have to give up your fashion just because you are on a budget.
Here are some of my favorite sale stores to shop:
