Lazy Saturdays

Who doesn't love a lazy Saturday, let's be honest if we are an adult we all look forward to the weekend so much more than when we were a kid. The weekend is a time that you can relax and just spend time with others. The weekend for me is a time where I don't have to dress up during the day if I don't want to and that is one of the main reasons that I love the weekend. Don't get me wrong there are those weekends where I am just in the mood to dress up a little more than just sweats and a tshirt but I love being able to just relax and not be as concerned about always dressing up.

This past weekend was not one of those weekends that I felt like dressing up at all. So of course I spend most of my weekend in what I call my "lazy clothes". Many people have a misconception I believe about "lazy clothes". Most people think that if you wear "lazy clothes" then you can't still be fashionable. Boy, do I think that is the complete opposite. I believe that no matter what type of clothes you are wearing you can be fashionable. So, this past weekend as my husband and I were getting ready to go run some errands I started to think about what I was going to wear (this usually is a process, I am picky so it takes a while). I went mentally went through my closet to figure out what exactly I wanted to wear. I finally landed on leggings, spirit jersey, scarf, and combat boots. I thought that still comfortable and fashionable.

Spirit Jerseys are on of my favorite things to wear right now. I love to see how different people wear them because they can be worn in so many different ways. One of the biggest reason that I love spirit jerseys is due to them looking good one anyone. They are a looser fitting shirt so whether you are smaller or more curvy the spirit jersey always seems to flatter you in just the right way. If you are worried about trying the spirit jersey if you are smaller, don't be. It won't make you look like you are swimming in too big of a shirt, that is not the case, with the spirt jerseys more form fitting top and flowy bottom it accentuates a smaller girls best features. If you are a more curvy girl and you are worried about the spirit jersey being too tight in some places and not long enough, you have nothing to worry about. Like with a smaller girl the shirt accentuates a more curvy girls best features because it was designed in such a way to show off exactly what each girl wants to show off and hide whatever you want to hide.

Fringe scarves are also huge right now. They first started to show up last fall/winter and they don't seem to be going anywhere. The fringe scarf is comfortable while fashionable. I paired the scarf with the the spirit jersey because the fringe scarf goes perfect with any type style of shirt. That's what is so great about the fringe scarf. I also paired it the fringe scarf with the spirt jersey because the tighter way that I wore it pulled the spirt jersey not making it look as big.

The leggings and boots were the finishing touches to my "lazy outfit". The leggings, they are always my go to. I am not a big jean person, so I always resort to leggings. However with this outfit I had more reason to wear leggings and that is because leggings help show the real shape of the spirt jersey. The final thing I added were the boots, the combat boots to be more specific. I love my combat boots and any chance I get to wear them I do. The combat boots added the final touched to this outfit. They may have even made the outfit. In my opinion the combat boots were the only choice of boots because the look I was going was more grunge and that is actually what the combat boots added. They added the grunge look I was going for. They are also a more relaxed type of boot which also added to my "lazy look".
